More busy times lay ahead as rumours grow about Motorola’s next smartphone. The Motorola Moto X is expected to come with a decent set of features, including a 1.7GHz Qualcomm quad-core MSM8960Pro Snapdragon Pro chip and a cache of 2 GB of RAM. It should also include a 720 x 1280-pixel resolution panel measuring 4.7 inches and powered by Qualcomm’s Adreno 320 graphics core.
Internal storage will be delivered through 16 GB of flash, preloaded with Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and expandable via MicroSD card slot, up to 32GB per card. In addition, low-power wireless will come by Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and if you need wireless connectivity, you should get 802.11 b/g/n to work with. Phone voice/data coverage will be over 2G through its 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz band support, while it’ll cover HSDPA bands in 3G as well as LTE/4G.
The phone should deliver high-quality photos, thanks to its 10 MP autofocus sensor with LED flash on the back and you’ll get a simpler 2 MP camera on the front. The Moto X will also be capable of capturing video at up to 1080p@30fps.
Rumours are the phone is expected to be announced in August 2013.
