Inside, there’s a 720 x 1280-pixel resolution Super LCD2 panel measuring 4.3 inches and driven by the Snapdragon’s Adreno 305 graphics processing core.
You’ll find the on-board 1800mAh Lithium-polymer (non-removable) battery is good for 500 hours in standby and 20 hours talk time. It’s not the biggest battery going around but those are pretty decent runtimes nonetheless.
Low-power wireless is handled by Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and there is good wireless connectivity available with 802.11 a/b/g/n built-in. The device’s 2G network coverage includes the 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz bands and 3G is supported over 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz.
You can capture still images via the 4 MP (2688 x 1520 pixels) with autofocus camera on the back of the device but importantly, it lacks the optical image stabilisation (OIS) of the HTC One. There’s also a second front-facing 1.6 MP camera for personal shots. The phone is also capable of capturing video at up to 1080p@30fps.
The HTC One mini lands on the scales with 122 grams and measures 132 x 63.2 x 9.3 mm. The product was announced in July 2013.
