KNC MD1008 10.1-inch dual-core tablet arrives on the market

md1008The latest news from KNC is that a new device is hitting the market. Inside the KNC MD1008, you’ll find a decent mix of options, such as a 1.2GHz MediaTek MTK8377 dual-core chip delivering the major horsepower and a decent-sized 10.1-inch panel using I-PS technology with 1280×800 resolution.

Also, you get as much as 1GB DDR3 of memory under the glass, while the 10.1-inch display is driven by the MediaTek MTK8377 dual-core’s PowerVR SGX531 graphics processing core.

There’s on-board storage through a 8GB cache of built-in flash memory while external storage for larger files is provided by MicroSD, up to 32GB. You’ll find Android 4.1 inside to run on the device. And for power, the battery capacity at this stage is unknown.

Rounding out the features, Bluetooth 3.0 handles the lower-power wireless side of things and Wi-Fi is included in the form of 802.11b/g/n-standard options.

The KNC MD1008 measures 246 x 175 x 10.2mm but weight details are also still unknown. KNC announced this new model back in June 2013.
