There’s no shortage of devices available from Sony. Inside the Sony Xperia L, you’ll find a decent mix of options, such as a quick Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon processor that powers through the phone’s major functionality, clocking along at up to 1GHz and a TFT capacitive touchscreen panel, measuring 4.3 inches and offering 480 x 854 pixels resolution.
Also, you get a decent cache of 1 GB of RAM, while the 4.3-inch display is driven by the Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon’s Adreno 305 graphics processing core.
You’ll see 8 GB (5.8 GB user available) of on-board flash for built-in storage while you’ve got plenty of external storage, thanks to microSD, up to 32 GB to store more files. You’ll find Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) lurking inside to run on the device. And for power, talk time is up to 8 hours and it will last 498 hours in standby mode, thanks to its 1750mAh Li-Ion battery.
In addition, if you need personal communications, the device comes with Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and Wi-Fi options abound with 802.11 a/b/g/n included in the design. Multi-network support over 2G is handled through the device’s 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz band coverage while for 3G networks, the bands covered are 900 / 2100MHz.
There’s a front-facing VGA camera but the device’s best quality photos are captured by the main 8 MP (3264 x 2448 pixels) with autofocus image sensor on the back. The device is also capable of capturing video at up to 720p@30fps.
The Sony Xperia L weights in at 137 grams and has external dimensions of 128.7 x 65 x 9.7 mm. The product was announced back in March 2013.
