New Hyundai X900 tablet – retina display, quad-core RK3188 for under $250

x900Hyundai looks as though it’ll be kept busy with its latest device on the way to market. The Hyundai X900 has a good list of extras under the bonnet, including a Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core SoC chip delivering up to 1.6GHz of processing horsepower and 1GB (DDR 3) of memory to work with.

Further, it comes with an I-PS Retina screen panel with 2048 x 1536 resolution within its 9.7-inch frame, also gaming on that 9.7-inch display is powered by a Mali 400 MP4 graphics core.

You’ll see 16GB of on-board flash for built-in storage while TF card, up to 32GB, provides convenient external storage for more of your files. It features Android 4.1.1 operating system to run your apps and keep things busy. And for power, you’ll see a Lithium-ion battery of unknown capacity.

In addition, you get Bluetooth to handle low-power communications and there’s Wi-Fi in the form of 802.11 b/g/n available inside. The image sensor on the back of the device is a 2MP type, while you get another 2MP unit on the front for video calls.

The Hyundai X900 lands on the scales with 655g and measures 243 x 190 x 9.3mm. The unit was originally announced in June 2013.

According to lilputing, its selling from for $252 but is available from other online retailers for less.
