A new device has just rolled off the production line from HTC. The HTC First is a compact well-stocked release, featuring a Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 processor powering on with a 1.4GHz CPU clock rate and a Super LCD capacitive touchscreen panel, measuring 4.3 inches and offering 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.
Also, 1 GB of memory to run your apps, while an Adreno 305 core inside the processor powers that 4.3-inch panel.
You’ll see 16 GB of on-board flash for built-in storage but there’s no external storage options available. The operating system is Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) to give you access to more apps. And for power, you’ll see around 14 hours talk time and up to 432 hours in standby mode through its 2000mAh Li-Polymer (non-removable) battery.
Next, there is good wireless connectivity available with 802.11 a/b/g/n built-in and low-power wireless is handled by Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP. Coverage is handled over 2G through its 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz band support and 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz bands for 3G networks.
The device delivers high-quality photos, thanks to its 5 MP (2592×1944 pixels) with autofocus image sensor on the back and you get a simpler 1.6 MP camera on the front. You can also capture video with the device at up to 1080p@30fps.
The HTC First measures 126 x 65 x 8.9 mm and has a comfortable weight at 123.9 grams. The device was announced first in April 2013.
