Specifications – Acer Liquid E2 smartphone

News from Acer is its next device is making its way to store shelves. You’ll find a decent mix of functionality inside the Acer Liquid E2, including up to 1 GB of memory to keep things ticking over and a 1.2GHz MTK 6589 chip powering the new model’s performance levels.

Inside, there’s a 540 x 960 pixels resolution panel built from IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen technology, measuring 4.5 inches. Also, that panel is powered by the PowerVR SGX 544MP core inside the MTK 6589 chip.

A 4 GB cache of internal flash handles on-board storage while you can use microSD, up to 32 GB, to provide extra storage for the device. Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) is the operating system behind the device keeping it going. And for power, you’ll find the on-board 2000mAh Li-Ion battery is good for 450 hours in standby and 9 hours talk time.

In addition, if you need low-power personal wireless, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP has that covered and if you need wireless connectivity, you get 802.11 a/b/g/n to work with. There’s basic 2G coverage on networks supporting the 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz bands.

An 8 MP (3264 x 2448 pixels) with autofocus image sensor on the back delivers the device’s best photo quality and you get a secondary 2 MP option on the front for video-conferencing. You can also capture video with the device at up to 1080p@30fps.
